Following The Trail Native American Men & Boys Conference
"Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ." (1 Corinthians 11:1)

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect at the conference?

You will receive a blessing. Our conference planners have insured you will NOT be attending a "church" service. Although, we will have some aspects of a church service, you will not "feel" like you are in a church service.

Will I be forced to speak or introduce myself in front of other people?

Absolutely not! We recognize that many of our Native American men and boys are uncomfortable in these types of settings. We intentionally ommitted small group sessions to produce a setting where each person will not be pressured to speak.

What should I bring?

Mainly, a desire to grow closer to the Lord. Also, bring your lawn chairs/blankets as the conference will be outdoors.

What should I wear?

The conference and activities will be outdoors, so dress according to the weather. Casual dress is recomended. Afternoon activities will include an opportunity to play sports or other activities.

I'm not Native American, can I attend the conference?

Absolutely! Everyone is welcome to be a part of this conference. Although the conference is geared towards Native Americans, everyone will benifit from the conference.

How can I get someone to come and speak to my church or men's group about the conference?

Just ask. You can contact us at the Contact Us tab on this website. We have men across the state who are glad to come and speak to your church or men's group about the conference.
